As Vice President of Academic Affairs at San Joaquin Valley College (SJVC), Shannon Koh provides strategic leadership for the college’s academic operations, ensuring a high-quality educational experience that supports student achievement and institutional excellence. She oversees initiatives that strengthen academic programs, instructor development, and compliance with accreditation standards across all campuses and learning modalities.

During her 18-year tenure with SJVC, Shannon has served in multiple leadership roles, including Campus President, Director of Program Effectiveness and Academic Dean. Her collaborative and data-driven approach has enhanced student retention, licensure, and placement outcomes while fostering a culture of community and accountability.

Shannon is dedicated to empowering academic leaders and instructors to drive continuous improvement and align with College’s mission to transform lives through education. She holds a Master of Education in Faculty Leadership and is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National University.
